Looking for something a bit different to add to your arrangements? This ornamental okra has plump, lime green fruit that lends itself to designs with a tropical feel. The leaves are trimmed away, leaving only the pods. The unusual stems can be used to add color and architectural interest to floral pieces. Stems can be harvested after pods have formed. Pods range in size from 1-6" in length depending on how early they are picked. Young pods are a delicious okra for the table.

A clumping, warm season grass that derives it's name from the one-side arrangement of the spikelets along the stem. Grows 1-2 ft. tall with gray green, fine textured foliage.
