Syringa wolfii is a spring to summer flowering deciduous shrub, up to 15 feet tall, native to Korea and Manchuria. Its mauve flowers occur in panicles and open from darker buds.
A sturdy fast growing lilac which festoons itself with abundant panicles of pale, blush pink.The fragrance, whilst not intense is pleasant and very noticeable in the garden.
Best suited for zones 3-7.
Excellent hummingbird and butterfly plant.
Uses: foundation plant, shrub border, groupings and mass plantings specimen.
