African Daisy ( Osteospermum ) Seeds

Osteospermum has become a very popular plant for flower arrangements in the past few years and are extremely popular for beds and baskets.
If you enjoy attracting bees and butterflies to your garden, start some Osteospermum seeds and enjoy the lovely display. Known as African Daisies, Osteospermum is a tender perennial that works well as an annual. The daisy-like flowers close each night and re-open each morning once the sun is directly on them. Osteospermum plants grow 10 - 12 inches, with a mounding growth habit. They are well-suited for the front of the border or in containers.
A perennial in zone 9 and higher, but mostly grown as an annual.

LET402 White Star ( Osteospermum )

One of our favorite Osteospermums. Large white daisy with purple eye, for pot or bedding, long bloomer, grows about 12 inches tall.

LET403 Akila Mix ( Osteospermum )

Only reaches 10-14 inches tall and 14-20 inches wide make it an excellent choice for the front of the border. Has 2-3 inch daisy-like flowers. These plants make an eye catching summer display in an open border, as ground cover or in containers. Flowers can be single or semi-double. This is a lovely Osteospermum with loads of flowers, colors ranging from bright white, pink and purple and they all have coloured centers. In warm climates it will bloom from early Spring into Fall.

LET405 Sky and Ice ( Osteospermum )

These plants make an eye catching summer display in an open border, as ground cover or in containers. Flowers can be single or semi-double. 'Sky & Ice' has ice blue flowers with dark blue centres. The petals are steely blue on the reverse. Good cut flower. Grows about 12 inches tall.

JB221 Akila Daisy White ( Osteospermum )

2014 AAS Bedding Plant Winner. White osteospermums are not unique but a clear white osteo with a yellow center is a novelty, plus, it’s easily grown from seed. Akila® Daisy White is a tidy, uniform plant with open flowers that produces non-stop blooms all summer long.
Even southern judges praised Akila’s ability to keep blooming in the heat and they also showed more drought tolerance than other osteos.
Akila is also the recipient of the Fleuroselect Gold Medal award for performance in European trials. Grows about 12 inches tall.
