Caltha Seed ( Perennial )

You should grow Caltha palustris, or marsh marigold, for its ornamental value, with its beautiful, showy yellow flowers and glossy, heart-shaped leaves, and for its wildlife benefits, as it provides nectar and pollen for early-blooming pollinators and food for small animals. It is also a hardy and versatile plant for challenging wet or boggy garden spots, making it excellent for pond edges, damp borders, and shoreline landscaping.

3102 Yellow Marsh Marigold ( Caltha palustris )

A wonderful, bright yellow plant for moist or even boggy areas, very hardy, grows about 12" tall, hardy to zone 3.Perennial. The name would seem to imply that marsh marigolds grow in marshy areas. Most descriptions of it do imply that they will only grow in consistently wet and shady areas, however this is not true, it will grow just about anywhere.
