Super Enorma Mix (Bellis perennis) is an outstanding English Daisy selection bred to produce exceptionally large, fully double flowers in a brilliant mixture of red, rose, pink, and white. Blooming well above compact rosettes of rich green foliage, the oversized pompon blooms create a spectacular display in early spring. Their larger flower size and vibrant color range make Super Enorma Mix one of the finest choices for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cool-season bedding displays.
Garden Uses:
Super Enorma Mix is perfect for edging flower beds, lining garden paths, brightening patio containers, window boxes, rock gardens, and formal bedding displays. Its unusually large blooms make it particularly effective when planted in masses, where the colorful mixture creates an eye-catching carpet of spring flowers. It combines beautifully with pansies, violas, primroses, forget-me-nots, tulips, hyacinths, and daffodils.
Growing Information:
Sow seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before the last expected frost or outdoors during late summer for flowering the following spring. Since English Daisy seeds require light to germinate, simply press them onto the soil surface without covering. Germination normally occurs within 10-20 days at temperatures between 65-70°F. Plants thrive in fertile, consistently moist, well-drained soil with full sun to partial shade. They perform best during cool weather and benefit from afternoon shade in warmer climates. Removing spent blooms encourages continued flowering.
