FA77 Brugmansia Arborea
Arborea is unusual in that it is one of the few brugmansia
cultivars which are self fertile. Flower shape differs from
other brugs and color is always either white or cream. The
leaves are slightly pubescent and have a distinctive color and
shape. Arborea prefers cooler temperatures and grows,and blooms
in late fall,winter and early spring.
Brugmansia arborea is a very robust and somewhat drought
tolerant variety. Green, velvety, trumpet-shaped leaves and
beautiful creamy white 4 ½ -6 ½” long fragrant
flowers are produced continually. Native of Ecuador and
Northern Chile. Sow seed at 61° F in standard potting mix,
water freely during growing season and moderately during winter
months, but don’t let dry out. Feed every 3 to 4
weeks.
