FA77 Brugmansia Arborea
Arborea is unusual in that it is one of the few brugmansia cultivars which are self fertile. Flower shape differs from other brugs and color is always either white or cream. The leaves are slightly pubescent and have a distinctive color and shape. Arborea prefers cooler temperatures and grows, and blooms in late fall, winter and early spring.
Brugmansia arborea is a very robust and somewhat drought tolerant variety. Green, velvety, trumpet-shaped leaves and beautiful creamy white 4 ½ -6 ½” long fragrant flowers are produced continually. Native of Ecuador and Northern Chile. Sow seed at 61° F in standard potting mix, water freely during growing season and moderately during winter months, but don’t let dry out. Feed every 3 to 4 weeks.
