LET381 Bellringers ( Campanula takesimana Bellringers )
Also known as Korean Bellflower, it is a very desirable and classic Campanula which is surprisingly underused.
Huge 3" long pendulous flower clusters, purple to pink shades with maroon center, flowers all summer in sun or shade. Grows about 24" tall.
The pink flushed blooms are unique, as the inside of each flower is decorated with deep maroon freckles. It grows rapidly and will quickly form large clumps. It prefers a lightly shaded spot making it useful for under-planting trees and shrubs. A sophisticated but robust beauty originating in Korea.
A perennial plant suited for zones 5 and above.
