Flamma Pink Celosia Seeds

Flamma Pink Celosia.
LET999 Flamma Pink ( Celosia cristata )

Flamma Pink Celosia is a dazzling crested cockscomb variety that produces large, velvety flower heads in brilliant shades of bright rose-pink. The sculpted blooms resemble velvet coral formations or ornate fans, creating an extraordinary display of color and texture throughout the summer garden. Compact, heat tolerant, and exceptionally floriferous, Flamma Pink brings months of vibrant color to flower beds, containers, borders, and cutting gardens from midsummer until frost.

Garden Uses

Flamma Pink Celosia is ideal for borders, cottage gardens, containers, mass plantings, pollinator gardens, and cutting gardens. The vivid pink flower heads create strong visual impact and pair beautifully with white flowers, purple salvias, blue ageratums, silver foliage plants, and ornamental grasses.

The unusual crested blooms provide texture as well as color, making them valuable focal points in mixed plantings. The flowers are equally useful in fresh bouquets and dried floral arrangements, where they retain much of their shape and vibrant coloration.

Growing Information

Start seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last expected frost or sow outdoors after soil temperatures have warmed. Germination generally occurs within 7 to 14 days at temperatures between 70° and 80°F.

Plants thrive in full sun and well-drained soil. Celosias excel in hot, humid weather and continue flowering during periods when many annuals begin to struggle. Moderate watering and good air circulation help maintain healthy growth and abundant blooms.

Flamma Pink typically grows 12 to 18 inches tall and develops sturdy stems capable of supporting the large flower crests. Blooming continues steadily from summer until frost.
