Supra Pink Dianthus Seeds

Supra Pink Dianthus (Dianthus) is a compact, free-flowering perennial that produces masses of vivid rose-pink blooms with delicately fringed petals and a rich, spicy clove fragrance. Blooming from late spring through much of the summer, the brilliant flowers rise above attractive blue-green foliage to create a colorful carpet of blossoms. Garden Uses:

Supra Pink is an excellent choice for edging, perennial borders, rock gardens, cottage gardens, fragrance gardens, containers, window boxes, and raised beds. Its compact habit makes it especially effective along walkways and garden paths where the fragrant blooms can be appreciated up close. It combines beautifully with campanulas, coreopsis, alyssum, lavender, salvia, creeping phlox, and ornamental grasses.

Growing Information:

Sow seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before the last expected frost or directly outdoors after danger of frost has passed. Cover seeds lightly with fine growing medium and maintain temperatures between 65-70°F during germination. Seeds usually germinate within 7-14 days. Plants thrive in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. Once established, Supra Pink tolerates dry conditions well and requires only moderate watering during prolonged drought. Deadheading spent flowers encourages continuous blooming while maintaining a neat, compact appearance.
