Gnome Pink Gomphrena Seeds

Gnome Pink Globe Amaranth is a compact, cheerful selection of Gomphrena globosa, grown for its soft pink, rounded flower heads and tidy dwarf habit. Growing Information

Gomphrena grows best in full sun and well-drained soil. Seeds may be started indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost or sown outdoors after the soil has warmed and all danger of frost has passed.

Keep the seedbed warm and evenly moist until seedlings appear. Once established, plants tolerate heat, humidity, and short dry periods very well. They prefer average garden soil or quality potting mix with good drainage.

For container growing, use a pot with drainage holes and avoid keeping the soil constantly wet. Pinching young plants can encourage branching and a fuller, bushier habit. Regular cutting for bouquets or dried stems will encourage additional bloom production.
