Melting Fire has strong, curled, intense purple-red foliage. Young leaves on a mature plant are bright red, giving the mound a 'hot' center. Flower stems, 18 inches, are also deep-red, carrying small clusters of white flowers from May through June. The foliage height is 10 inches, making a nice clump of attractive color. This award winning Heuchera plant grows in a uniform habit and can be grown in full sun to partial shade. It attracts butterflies and hummingbirds, and it makes a nice cut flower as well. Pelleted seeds for easy germination.
