Ribbon Fan Palm Seeds

Livistona decora, also known as Weeping Cabbage Palm or Ribbon Fan Palm, is a stunning and versatile palm species suited to tropical and subtropical landscapes. Native to eastern Australia, this palm is admired for its solitary, slender trunk, which can gracefully reach heights of up to 60 feet, showing a series of old leaf scars.
Its fan-shaped, glossy green leaves are divided into many thin segments that elegantly droop, giving the plant its distinct “weeping” appearance. These leaves are supported by long petioles fringed with small, curved spines. Livistona decora thrives in well-drained soils and a range of light conditions from partial shade to full sun.
Tolerant to drought once established, it also shows moderate cold tolerance and is suitable for USDA Zones 8-11. This ornamental palm is a favorite choice for landscaping due to its graceful foliage, creamy flowers, and small black fruits.
