Giant Aconcagua is an Argentine heirloom sweet pepper known for its impressive size, heavy yields, and unusually sweet flavor. Named for the famous mountain peak, this long-fruited pepper can produce fruits that reach 10 to 12 inches in length.
The thick, meaty peppers are excellent for stuffing, roasting, grilling, frying, and slicing fresh into salads. Fruits may be enjoyed at the light green stage or allowed to ripen red for their sweetest flavor. Plants can grow about 3 feet tall and benefit from staking when loaded with fruit. 70 days.
