Jalapeno Gigantia produces good yields of large, thick-walled hot peppers that grow about 5 inches long. The fruits are mildly hot, glossy dark green when commonly harvested, and mature to scarlet red if left on the plant.
This variety is a favorite for slicing, stuffing, grilling, pickling, and making salsa. The large size makes the peppers especially useful for cutting in half and filling with cheese or savory mixtures before grilling or baking. Plants have green stems, green leaves, and white flowers. 70 days.
