NuMex Jalmundo, also known as Jalapeno Popper NuMex, was bred for jumbo jalapeno fruits that are ideal for making stuffed pepper poppers. The large, thick-walled peppers are excellent for filling with cheese, breading and frying, grilling, pickling, or slicing fresh.
These jumbo 2½ to 5 inch peppers are hotter than many standard jalapenos, with heat reported around 17,000 Scoville units. Plants are heavy yielding and well suited to warm-season gardens. 78 days.
