Raspberry Shake Petunia Seeds

Raspberry Shake Petunia.
TPF303 Raspberry Shake

Raspberry Shake Petunia is a striking modern petunia variety celebrated for its unique blend of raspberry-pink, creamy yellow, and deep wine-purple tones. Each bloom displays a beautifully marbled and blended pattern that makes no two flowers exactly alike. The rich raspberry shades swirl through creamy highlights and darker centers, creating a dramatic, dessert-inspired color combination that gives this variety its memorable name.

Blooming heavily from late spring until frost, Raspberry Shake produces a continuous display of colorful flowers that brighten containers, hanging baskets, patio planters, borders, and mixed annual beds. Its compact yet vigorous growth habit allows it to remain tidy while producing an abundance of eye-catching blooms throughout the season.

Garden Uses

Raspberry Shake Petunia is ideal for containers, hanging baskets, window boxes, patio planters, borders, and mixed annual displays. The unusual flower coloration creates an immediate focal point and pairs beautifully with white alyssum, purple verbena, silver dusty miller, calibrachoa, angelonia, and ornamental grasses.

The vibrant raspberry and cream tones make it particularly attractive in decorative containers placed near entryways, patios, decks, and outdoor seating areas. It also performs well in mass plantings where the unusual flower patterns create a tapestry of color throughout the garden.

Growing Information

Start seeds indoors 10 to 12 weeks before the last expected frost. Petunia seeds require light to germinate, so sow them on the surface of a moist seed-starting mix and press lightly into the growing medium without covering. Maintain temperatures between 70 and 75 degrees F. Germination typically occurs within 7 to 14 days.

Transplant outdoors after all danger of frost has passed. Grow plants in full sun for the best flowering performance and richest flower coloration. Petunias prefer fertile, well-drained soil and consistent moisture, especially when grown in containers and hanging baskets.

Regular feeding with a flowering plant fertilizer will encourage continuous bloom production throughout the season. Occasional deadheading or light grooming helps maintain a neat appearance and encourages additional flowers.
