LET470 Aloinopsis Species Mix
Aloinopsis is a genus of small, winter-growing succulent plants native to the arid regions of South Africa. These plants are members of the Aizoaceae (ice plant) family and are popular among collectors for their unique, often wart-covered leaves and large, daisy-like flowers.
The name "Aloinopsis" translates to "aloe-like," referring to their resemblance to dwarf Aloe species. Most species form compact rosettes of fleshy leaves that may be spoon-shaped, fan-shaped, or round. The leaf surfaces are often covered in tiny bumps (papillae) or "teeth," giving them a rough or crystalline texture.
They produce large, silky flowers in shades of yellow, bronze, pink, or orange, often with a darker stripe down the center of each petal. Flowering typically occurs in late winter or spring.
