The Abe Lincoln tomato is a popular heirloom variety known for its good disease resistance and rich, slightly acidic flavor. It produces bright red, medium-sized, round tomatoes, often in clusters, and has been a garden favorite since the 1920s.
Introduced by H.W. Buckbee Seed Company in 1923, it was named after Abraham Lincoln.
Excellent for juice, ketchup or slicing. It has a rich, old-fashioned flavor, slightly acidic, and is known for its meaty texture. The plant produces high yields of 12 oz globe shaped tomatoes. An excellent choice for home gardens and market growers. Excellent disease resistance. Indeterminate. 87 days.
