The "Banana Legs" tomato is a unique and heirloom variety known for its elongated, banana-like shape and bright yellow color. It was introduced in 1984 by Illinois seed saver John Swenson.
Excellent for salads and sandwiches due to their mild, low-acid flavor and meaty texture. Ideal for sauces, ketchup, salsas, pastes, and spreads due to their meaty flesh and low acidity. Holds up well for canning and preserving and can even be roasted.
