Many small seeds germinate better if covered lightly with vermiculite. We offer an extra fine horticultural grade vermiculite in a quart jar with shaker top.

Lightweight, and will last for years. Perfect for hand pollination of many plants, or for drying/storing seeds.

The perfect storage solution for tiny seeds. We dry our seeds, then place the tiny ones in the glassine envelopes, then seal them up in zip lock bags and place them in a cool, dark spot for next season. Tomato seeds can keep 3-5 years stored this way. They are especially handy when sowing seeds, as the lip of the envelope can be formed into a "V" shape for easily dispersing seeds just where you want them. Glassine Envelopes are translucent and acid free with a wax paper-like finish. 25 envelopes per bag.
